FAQs
Linen is optional, there is 1 king, 6 queens and 9 king singles. Linen is $20 for a double per stay or $15 for a king single. This includes quality linen and bathroom towels.
Regardless of whether you choose the linen option or not, duvets, mattress protectors, pillows and extra blankets are provided. As are flannels, hand-towels, bathmats and tea-towels.
We have a Sunbeam Barrista Max coffee machine. Coffee beans are supplied. We provide salt, pepper, sugar, tea bags and some basic spices. There is a blender, two toasted sandwich machines, a microwave, a food processer, a rice maker, a slow cooker and a bread maker available for guests to use.
There is plenty for children to do at The Big Bach. There is a real boat within the deck for children to play in, and a Wendy house next to it.
We have several large outdoor games. Inside there are several board games, books, Thomas the Tank Engine and Duplo. Everyone loves the games room which has darts, air hockey and table tennis. A separate TV is downstairs for those evenings when you want the children to relax and have time away from the main living space.
And of course there is the 9 person spa pool, the paddleboard and two kayaks and the ocean at your front door!
We provide 2 portacots and bedding for them both. There is a fireguard that can be put up and a safety gate for the stairs. We also have a highchair.
There is room for 6 cars to park in the driveway.
No, we do not allow any external music systems
Free unlimited wifi is available for guests
Yes we do. We have a paddleboard and two kayaks that each seat 1 adult and 1 child. Life jackets in a range of sizes are available.

Fantastic big spacious house with everything you need. Kelly is a friendly host, and was very accommodating with our large group of 30. The views to Kapiti Island were uninterrupted from the spa, or from the cozy fire in the lounge. Highly recommend booking big bach. You won't be disappointed
