Amenities

The house has been set up especially to cater for large groups, sleeping up to 23 people.

The upstairs boasts a large open plan living room, dining room and kitchen.

The well-stocked designer kitchen and scullery have a double oven and range-hood, dishwasher, microwave, rice maker, slow cooker, food processor, blender, espresso coffee machine and bread maker.

The dining room table can seat up to 12 people (with two more tables outside, one seating 12 and one seating 6). The living room has comfy deep couches with a large closed fire place to keep you toasty warm during your winter stays.

There are three bathrooms; one upstairs and two downstairs, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

There is a big barbecue and lots of deck options. Wherever the sun is you can find a comfy place to enjoy it. Follow the sun on the upstairs deck that wraps itself around three sides of the house. Bask in the afternoon sun on the downstairs deck lounge suite, or stretch out in the morning sun on the sun loungers on the upper deck.

This large section is private and fully fenced. Relax in the large spa pool while the kids keep themselves busy playing in the Wendy house or in the restored boat nestled into the decking.

For those of you feeling a bit more adventurous enjoy the paddleboard and kayaks before coming back and warming up in the outdoor hot shower.

There is off street parking for up to 6 cars.

Linen is optional, there is 1 king, 6 queens and 9 king singles. Linen is $20 for a double per stay or $15 for a king single. This includes quality linen and bathroom towels.
Regardless of whether you choose the linen option or not, duvets, mattress protectors, pillows and extra blankets are provided. As are flannels, hand-towels, bathmats and tea-towels.

What kitchen supplies and appliances are there?

We have a Sunbeam Barrista Max coffee machine. Coffee beans are supplied. We provide salt, pepper, sugar, tea bags and some basic spices. There is a blender, two toasted sandwich machines, a microwave, a food processer, a rice maker, a slow cooker and a bread maker available for guests to use.

What is there for children to do?

There is plenty for children to do at The Big Bach. There is a real boat within the deck for children to play in, and a Wendy house next to it.
We have several large outdoor games. Inside there are several board games, books, Thomas the Tank Engine and Duplo. Everyone loves the games room which has darts, air hockey and table tennis. A separate TV is downstairs for those evenings when you want the children to relax and have time away from the main living space.
And of course there is the 9 person spa pool, the paddleboard and two kayaks and the ocean at your front door!

Do you provide anything for infants?

We provide 2 portacots and bedding for them both. There is a fireguard that can be put up and a safety gate for the stairs. We also have a highchair.

Is there off street parking?

There is room for 6 cars to park in the driveway.

Can we have a DJ there?

No, we do not allow any external music systems

Do you have internet access?

Free unlimited wifi is available for guests

Do you have any watersport equipment?

Yes we do. We have a paddleboard and two kayaks that each seat 1 adult and 1 child. Life jackets in a range of sizes are available.
